Digit-in-Noise Test
The test measures primarily the auditory, speech recognition abilities in noise, hence can be used as a screening tool.
Test must be done under quiet ambient space with minimal noise level.
Instructions for the test
- Find a quiet place for the test with minimal noise level will be preffered
- Make sure that your headphones are plugged in
- Raise the volume to a comfortably loud level
- During the test, you must listen carefully to the digits and enter them on the keypad visible on your screen
- Type the responses what you hear on the keypad and press enter to enter your response
- If you are not sure of the responses, then guess the response and enter.
- Total 24 sets of triplets will be presented to you one after the other.
- Listen carefully and enter the response after each triplet.
